The Youth Wing of the New Party (NPP) has vowed to move the party from opposition to power in 2016 general elections, Mr Sammy Awuku, National Youth Organizer, has predicted.

He said the Youth of the party would do sacrificial jobs by going extra miles without any hindrance to ensure that the NPP forms a government to rescue Ghanaians from their current economic mess.

Mr Awuku made this known when he inaugurated a 25-Youth Working Committee of Awutu Senya West at Awutu Bawjaise in the Central Region.

He stated that the Youth were more than ready to move from villages to urban areas to campaign vigorous to win massive votes to enable the NPP to win power.

Mr Awuku said majority of Ghanaians spent the Christmas in a sorrowful mood as a result of “mismanagement of state resources by the national Democratic Congress (NDC) government”.

The Youth Organizer lamented that nurses, teachers and other government workers were crying over non-payment of salary and other allowances by the government for one and half years.

He asked Ghanaians not to hesitate to reject the NDC government led by President John Mahama in the 2016 general elections.

Mr Awuku observed that NPP led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as Presidential Candidate was the only political party which could find an antidote to the economic problem facing the nation.

Mr Yaw Adomako Baiffe, Deputy National Communication Director slammed the NDC government for doing little to alleviate Ghanaians from further suffering.

He said the NDC is the luckiest Government because apart from plenty natural resources, NPP discovered Oil and Gas before it left office in 2008.

Mr Fred Oware, former 1st National Vice Chairman of NPP commended the Awutu Senya West youth for their sense of direction and determination to work hard to snatch the Parliamentary seat in 2016 elections.

He said the NDC government has disappointed Ghanaians by not telling them the true state of the economy, adding that Ghanaians are suffering and urged the NDC government to rebuild the economy.
