Policy analyst and member of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Siddique Abubakar Suleiman, has touted the credentials and competencies of the running mate of the party, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
He said going into election 2024, the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast has the credibility and competencies to help pull crowd to the NDC to secure an electoral victory for the biggest opposition party.
He was reacting to the reappointment of Prof. Opoku-Agyemang by the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, to partner him in the crucial elections slated for December 7.
Contributing to the discussion on Inside Politics on TV XYZ, Abubakar Suleiman said “the nomination of the good professor for the second time shows how effective she is to attract voters.
"Professor Naana Jane is ever ready to work hard and complement the efforts of HE John Mahama to win the elections,” he told host King Nicholas in Akan.
Abubakar Suleiman also urged members of the NDC, especially the females, who were elated by the selection of the former Minister for Education as the running mate to work hard and propagate the message of the NDC to attract voters.
To him, the country has been messed up by the NPP and as such, Ghanaians are looking forward to the NDC and John Mahama to win the elections and reset the country for greatness.
“Don’t say it is not my work,” he said while urging party members to join campaign activities in their localities and not wait for national executives to arrive in their constituencies before they join the campaign.
