Newly-elected deputy Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the opposition NDC has pledged to fully live up to expectations after delegates reposed their trust in him.
Kobby Onasis says he is fully aware of the uphill task and responsibility the position comes with and has urged all youth and members of the umbrella fraternity to come on board as they lead the charge to unseat the current government in 2020.
In a statement issued by him in appreciation for the electoral victory, Kobby Onasis re-echoed his desire to support the youth of the party in their endeavours and also support the substantive Youth Organiser in activities.
The deputy Youth Organiser also appreciated the efforts of aspiring National Chairperson of the party, Betty Mould Iddrisu whim he acknowledges as a pillar in his success.

Statement of Appreciation
I wish to thank God for His Grace and Mercies over me throughout my journey to a successful electoral victory...Him alone is true. I would like to formally thank the vibrant delegates of the youth wing of the NDC in the Ashanti Region for bestowing such an enviable responsibility on me.
I am happily appreciative of being mentored by Hon. Betty Mould-Iddrisu, whose wise counsel and directions gave me a hope to rise. Finally to my team and those who supported me in one way or the other in such an interesting exercise.
Being a Deputy Regional Youth Organiser in Ashanti Region is a humbling call with a challenging task :
1. To assist in mobilising the Youth in Ashanti Region for a just course of rallying behind the NDC to rescue Ghana from the NPP mess.
2. Inspire the youth who have been oppressed by the harsh economic conditions of the NPP Government
3. Give hope to the youth of a brighter future under an NDC Government.
An NDC Victory in 2020 is non-negotiable and without apologies, however, daunting it may pose. With a united and dedicated youth front, I can assure our masses of a sweet Victory.
I pledge to support and assist the Regional Youth Organiser in our quest for victory.
Deputy Regional Youth Organiser A. R.
