Some executives within the Ningo Prampram Constituency have threatened to go to court if the Party's National Executive Committee fails to investigate and address a petition brought before it.

According to the spokesperson for the coalition of branch executives in the constituency, Okoe Mensah at a press conference, they will head to the law court to sue the party if they fail to investigate the petition brought before it concerning developments prior and during the November 22 NDC primary.

Mr Mensah noted that though the Regional Executives have suspended Mr Sam George, NEC is yet to uphold the decision.

This he said is creating quite a lot of problems within the constituency because Mr Sam George is threatening all executives within the constituency.

"We are appealing to the National Executive Committee of our great Party to have the elections held at Ningo Prampram Constituency investigated thoroughly, and if the allegations against Samuel Nartey George are proven, annul the results of the elections and punish him severely for perpetuating such electoral fraud in his bid to short change the will of the people of Ningo Prampram Constituency and bring the NDC Party into disrepute."

Mr Mensah said after the November 22 elections several electoral malfeasance have been recorded and a compilation of the findings have been made available to both the Regional and National for redress but is yet to hear from National.

He noted that if the Party fails to act on the petition brought before it,not only will they go to court but the Party is likely to lose both the Presidential and Parliamentary votes in the constituency.

"We are surprised at the total silence on the part of the National Executives Committee of the NDC in connection with the petitions referred to them. We wish to use this occasion to reiterate the concerns we have been making all this while, and to call for immediate action from the Party's NEC or else the blame themselves for anything untoward which has the potential of making the NDC very unpopular in the coming November 7 elections" he added.

33He called on the Party to as a matter of urgency call Mr Sam George to order as he is throwing about threatening the constituency executives.

In a separate chat with GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com, He appealed to the National Executives of the Party to investigate the petition brought before and submit it's report to the Ningo Prampram Chairman within one month or face their wrath.

Some branch executives who were present at the press conference also appealed to the party to as a matter of urgency address their concerns raised in the petition to avoid any problems in the constituency in the very near future.
