The Deputy General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has advised the Deputy Minority Leader and Member of Parliament (MP) for Bimbilla, Dominic Nitiwul to start preparing his handing over notes ahead of the December 7 polls.

He indicates that the outspoken legislator is bound to lose his seat and should therefore discard any intention of going back to parliament in 2017 considering how the NDC has strategically positioned itself to snatch the seat from him.

“He should kiss parliament good bye. Anyone who knows him should tell him that his days are numbered in parliament because our candidate will throw him out with a landslide win at the December 7 elections”, he assured.

Speaking to NDC supporters at Bimbilla during the Northern Regional Campaign launch over the weekend, he stated that the NPP MP has nothing new to offer residents of the constituency and must be shown the exit for a more hardworking person to take over.

“You can judge for yourself that Nitiwul is losing the seat and there is no debate about this.

This is one of the seats we are winning back in the Northern Region which we lost to the NPP in 2012. We have paid our dues and we will surely be rewarded by the constituents”, he observed.

The NDC led by Alhaji Mohammed Muniru-Limuna, Ministry of Food and Agriculture, has said that the party will win back all the seats that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) won in 2012.

In resolve to achieve this, the party revealed that all the seats NPP is currently holding are originally NDC seats that the party lost because of issues of independent candidates and bickering within its ranks in the past and therefore launched the campaign to retrieve them.
