Outspoken communicator with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Regional, Mr. Kwaku Asafo Agyei is of the view that founder and leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike would as a president performed better than President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
“In terms of policy direction, Odike and UPP would have done better than President Akufo-Addo his NPP government”, he opined.
“Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike will be a better person to replace President Akufo-Addo if Ghana wants an alternative”, according to the staunch supporter of former President John Mahama who is concurring with claims by former President that the current administration is rolling out policies without a clear-cut plan.
The NPP government has so far initiated a number of policies including Planting for Food and Jobs and the Free SHS policy among others since it took power in 2016.
The former President, however, insists these policies were not accompanied with specific guidelines on their implementation, a situation he believes threatens their success.
Speaking on Nhyira FM morning show”Kroyimunsem” political talk show monitored by MyNewsGh.com and hosted by Kofi Asante Ennin, Kwaku Asafo Agyei said, the former President has hit the hammer right on the head of the nail.
“Comparatively, Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike is better than President Akufo-Addo”, Mr. Kwaku Asafo Agyei stressed.
