Over 400 youth organisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have arrived at the party's headquarters to pick up flagbearer nomination forms on behalf of the 2024 Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.
Addressing the media, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Isaac Obeng, a youth organiser, noted, “Yesterday was International Youth Day, and as youth organisers and deputies from various constituencies, we believe we cannot remain idle in our constituencies without marking this remarkable day. We are here today to pick the form for our incoming President, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. We believe this is a gift to him.”
They further described him as a unifier who is incorruptible.

"The only one we see as a unifier in the party is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the only one we believe is credible and has no iota of corruption," he noted.

The NPP has officially announced Saturday, January 31, 2026, as the date for its presidential primary to elect a flagbearer for the NPP in the leadup to the 2028 general elections.
