Worawora (V/R), Oct 12, GNA - Mr Kwasi Owusu-Yeboa, the Volta Regional Minister, has said the Government had demonstrated enough goodwill to the underprivileged communities that should warrant its re-election in Election 2004.

He said "no government in the history of the country had committed itself to relieving the plight of the suffering masses than the Government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)".

Mr Owusu-Yeboa, who is also the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Biakoye Constituency, said this when he interacted with the people of Worawora Zongo, Worawora Mission, Bowiri Kyiriahi and Bowiri Amanfrom all in the Biakoye Constituency.

He told the people that the evidence was glaring and "you need not travel far to make yourself conversant with development projects that had been undertaken everywhere".

Mr Owusu-Yeboa said renewing the mandate of the NPP for another four-year term would mean an accelerated development, wealth and job creation towards self-reliance.

He urged the people to be wary of self-seeking politicians and vote massively for the NPP.

Meanwhile at Bowiri Amanfrom, Abdul Rahman and David Kaka, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ward Chairman and Organiser, respectively, for Bowiri East, have defected to the NPP.
