Founder and President of the “Youth in Action For Christ”, Evangelist Jackson Kwabena Adu is calling on political parties in the country to outline their plans to creating jobs for the youth in the nation.

Evangelist Jackson Kwabena Adu implored the parties to make job creation a top priority in their manifestos.

According to him, the youth have been neglected by the leaders of the nation and so, it is time for them to state in clear terms the pragmatic steps they will adopt to creating employment opportunities for the Ghanaian youth.

"Any manifesto that they will bring out, we want to hear something like job creation because if you come to Ghana right now; we even have an unemployed association. We have students. We have graduates but they don’t have jobs. They’re not doing anything. They’re in their homes . . . So; we want to see that they’re ready for the future leaders of this country," he said.

Speaking in an interview with Peacefmonline.com, he expressed worry over the rate of unemployed youth in the country.

To him, it is very alarming that even graduates cannot find lucrative jobs after they complete their academic work.

He therefore wants the parties' manifestos to be centered on job creation, adding that the youth are the future leaders of the country.

“ . . We want to tell them that the manifesto that will come out, we want to see job creation. How they will do it? How they will bring jobs? We want them to explain in their manifesto, how they are going to give us jobs,” he added.

“Youth in Action For Christ” aims at winning the youth for Christ, empowering them to be great and God-fearing leaders and also seeking the welfare of the Ghanaian youth.

The organization is keen on building the potentials of the youth to ensure a God-fearing crop of youth occupying political positions in the country.
