Media personality Afia Pokuaa, popularly known as Vim Lady, has urged political parties to channel their resources into investing in research instead of depending on prophets and prophecies for electoral victories.

According to the journalist, political parties should focus their resources on research and training their members, as some pastors use trickery for financial gain.

“Politicians, please spend money on research & training of foot soldiers. The pastors are using ‘matrikiwo’ to chop your money,” she posted on her Facebook page on October 1, 2024.

The post by the journalist comes on the back of a prophecy issued by the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, during a fellowship between the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, and some members of the clergy.

“When the prayer was going on, the Lord told me this. Because of the good heart of this man, the Lord has entrusted the country into his hands again. Nothing can stop it,” he stated.

Questioning the authenticity of the prophecies issued ahead of the December 7 general elections, Afia Pokuaa, in another Facebook post, shared videos of Rev. Owusu-Bempah and the founder and leader of Power Chapel Worldwide, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, both making divergent prophecies about the outcome of the upcoming elections.

“Same God, different prophecies. How?” Vim Lady questioned.
