Patricia Appiagyei ‘Steals’ Show at Kumasi

The entire Kumasi Township was shaken to its roots as political bigwigs within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stormed the Asokwa constituency in the Ashanti Region to assure the electorates of how committed the party is, in restoring hope and bringing meaning to the shattered lives `of the people.

The school junction park was filled to capacity as patrons had filled the laterals and the fringes of the road so excited; with the invigorating assurance that better life is just in the offing.


The Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency, Madam Patricia Appiagyei also known in the constituency as Sompahemaa who led the arson of speakers at the well-attended rally during the launch of her campaign outlined an excited package for the electorates within the Asokwa constituency.


The launch lived up to its billing as patrons and enthusiastic constituents started converging at the grounds as early as 6am and by 9am the whole School Junction park had been occupied by the expectant crowd. It is said by political watchers that the Asokwa Constituency campaign launch was able to pull one of the biggest political crowd rallies in the history of political gatherings in the country.


Madam Appiaggyei intimated to the mammoth crowd that she would not renege on her pledge to bringing the needed intervention to her constituents.


According her she will do all what she can to bringing the needed interventions to accelerate the development agenda of the constituents noting that she is currently arranging with her partners from the Afro-Asian to establish small loans and credit for the constituent to access.

Madam Appiaggyei, a former mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly was visibly amazed by the shocking crowd and was full of praise for her constituents for reposing confidence in her and promised the enthusiastic electorates that she will do all what she can to maximize the needed votes to ensure Nana Addo becomes the next President of Ghana come January 7, 2013.


Other speakers at the campaign launch, were, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie alias sir john, Dr. Konadu Apraku, Dr. Akoto Osei, Hon Osei Kwame Prempeh, Hon Frema Akosua Opare, Lawyer Adwoa Safo among many leading members who thronged the launch grounds to support Madam Patricia Appiagyei.


What ran through all the speeches at the launch was need for a change for the better and bringing NPP and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to take up reins of power and bring to fruition the transformational leadership Ghana so desires. Madam Patricia Appiaggyei assured her constituents that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the NPP are committed to implementing the much touted free Senior High School.


She observed Ghanaians are now disillusioned with the kind of bad governance that are being unleashed to the unsuspecting Ghanaians and urged Ghanaians to show the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC )the red card and give the mantle of leadership to the NPP to steer affairs of governance of the country.
