Sekondi, May 16, GNA - Photographs of unspecified registered voters in 200 out of the 452 registration and electoral centres in the Western Region could not be taken before the revision voters registration ended on Sunday.
Mr Stephen Opoku-Mensah, Regional Director of Electoral Commission, told the GNA in an interview on Monday that each of the 226 camera teams who took photographs for voters' identity cards served two registration and electoral areas.
He said photographs of affected persons are being taken in the registration and electoral centres and that all remaining registered voters would be covered before the camera teams return to base. Mr Opoku-Mensah said many persons waited till the last day before going to the centres to register.
"There have not been any recorded problems at the centres and there were no reports of shortage of materials and films."
