Ghana rounded up a disappointing World Cup qualification campaign with a 1-1 draw against Egypt at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
Egypt grabbed the lead through a powerful drive by Shikabala in the 61st minute but debutant Edwin Gyasi scored three minutes later to restore parity.
The result of the game was inconsequential as Egypt has already booked a place in World Cup.
Coach Kwesi Appiah however, used the opportunity to try new players as he continues to revamp the team ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The draw against the seven-time AFCON winners means Ghana failed to register a home win throughout the qualification campaign finishing 3rd with just 7points.
