Israel Kyene Nana Damascus
Police have declared notorious armed robber Israel Kyene Nana Damascus wanted with a handsome reward for anyone with information leading to his arrest.
A bench warrant was issued for his arrest by an Accra Circuit court on 21st December, 2018 for armed robbery and rape and is believed to be very dangerous.
Police say he might be hiding at Kasoa, Kiambre, Tuba, Kokrobite, Cape Coast and Nigeria. Members of the public are encouraged to alert the police on 0244994564, 0244280001 or simply 191.
The police have intensified public surveillance during this Christmas season and have vowed to make criminals uncomfortable in Ghana.
In line with that, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr David Asante-Apeatu, ordered the suspension of the leave of all police personnel, directing all personnel on leave to report for duty ahead of the Christmas.
The measures are part of efforts by the Police Administration to beef up security before, during and after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
