Photo journalist Dada Oliseh was yesterday assaulted by policemen at the Ghana Football Association Elective Congress held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra.
Video footage available to Ghanaweb show how some policemen were mishandling the journalist much to the displeasure of onlookers.
It is still not clear from the video what the journalist did wrong to warrant such a treatment from the security officers but several police officers were seen in the video dragging the journalist from the auditorium with one of them actually hitting the journalist with the hand.
Oliseh had earlier yesterday received plaudits from social media for his incredible photo skills after capturing former FA Vice, George Afriyie in a pensive mood when the elections was headed for the second round.
It is unclear if that photo earned the ire of Team George of the assault was as a result of an isolated issue.
