Odumase-Krobo(E/R), Jan. 13, GNA- Political leaders in the country have been advised to be careful of their pronouncements in this election year and promote peace instead of social and political upheavals.

Venerable Samuel Benjamin Nii-Moi-Addo, newly installed Archdeacon of Odumase-Krobo Archdeaconry of the Anglican Church gave the advice in his maiden sermon after his installation at the Odumase Transfiguration Anglican Church on Sunday. He urged the political leaders to humble themselves, be tolerant and make room for accommodating each others fault and be more concern about the next stage of the development of the country and the challenges ahead.

Venerable Nii-Moi-Addo called on the members of the Archdeaconry to support his administration to empower the youth in the church to take part in all activities of the church to enable it to grow in the Archdeaconry.

He said his administration would promote evangelism and promote membership welfare to enable the church to give more support to the members of the congregation for their spiritual and material growth. The installation was performed by the Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, Rt. Rev. Francis Benjamin Quashie who urged the congregation to give the new Archdeacon all the needed support to enable him to devote more time for the spiritual needs of the Church and the congregation. 13 Jan. 2008
