Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo Ano South East in the Ashanti Region, Francis Adabor Manu, has urged polling station agents of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to accept postings to stations for the purpose of monitoring the elections.
Mr. Adabor advised NPP polling station personnel to desist from the telling party officials where they want operate as agents of the party. The MP maintained that the Danqhah-Dombo-Bussia family will win the 2016 General Elections, and urged polling stations agents be vigilant at all stations across the country.
The former Principal of the Ghana School of Surveying and Mapping said the NPP can capture power and save Ghana from the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), which is contesting unopposed primaries candidates, admonished the NPP to work hard and save Ghanaians from the present economic mess.
Francis Manu said: “I am happy and proud that the constituency has given me another chance to serve in Parliament, and I will continue to do my best to help develop the Constituency.” On his achievements as an MP, Adabor Manu disclosed that Sabronum and Ahwere roads had been tarred, noting that the Feeder Roads Department was working on a number of roads in the constituency.
He said he had donated generators sets and public address (PA) systems to mosques in his constituency, as well as scholarships for students and the rehabilitation of dilapidated school buildings.
In his quest to stage an effective campaign to overwhelmingly win the presidential and parliamentary elections in the Ahafo Ano South East constituency, the University of Ife scholar disclosed that he had procured motorbikes for use by the NASARA Club and organisers of the party to step up campaigning.
Meanwhile, the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Joseph Dapaah, has praised Mr. Manu for his good works, and urged the party to remain united and forge ahead in unity for the 2016 General Elections.
