It has emerged that some unknown persons have destroyed the posters of Mr. Ernest Adomako, the National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for the Okaikoi South Constituency.

The incident happened on Saturday, 6th July 2024, with posters in Circle and its environs being removed.

Speaking with the media, Mr. Ernest Adomako stated that no political party has the right to remove an opponent's posters and that the development is highly condemnable.

“My desire is to preach peace and live in peace with all our neighbors. I can attest to the fact that so much money is spent on printing these posters,” he stressed.

Mr. Adomako condemned these actions in no uncertain terms and said that efforts are underway to identify the culprits.

“I can boldly state with no doubt that the people of Okaikoi South Constituency have amply demonstrated their unflinching support for the NDC PC. They have been respectful and tolerant of everybody's opinion, but not the other way around,” he lamented.

“The NDC in Okaikoi South is poised to preach peace and live in peace with their opponents if only they uphold that,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Kaneshie ward coordinator, Mr. Daniel Ofori, has raised concerns about the conduct of the sub-metro director, alleging that developmental projects being undertaken by the NDC candidate have been forcibly abandoned.

The matter has been reported to the police, who are probing the case.
