Power men to contest NDC primaries

Some notable faces in Ghana’s power sector will be among aspirants for the upcoming primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Nominations for the concurrent presidential and parliamentary primaries are scheduled to be open from Thursday, August 27 and close on Thursday, September 10.

But before then, posters of some known faces have popped.

Samuel Kwesi Fletcher, the head of Public Affairs at the state’s power-producing firm Volta River Authority (VRA), and Edward Abambire Bawa, the Communications Specialist at the Ministry of Power, are among the known faces in the power sector to contest the November 7 primaries.
