Member of parliament for upper west akyem constituency of the eastern region, Joseph Amankwanor has assured ghanaians of massive infrastructural developments across the country under the Mahama-led administration and has therefore urged the public to have patience since every community will get its fair share of the national cake.
He was speaking at Asuotwene during a sod cutting ceremony to costruct bridge over the asuotwene river.
Mr. Amankwanor in an interview was optimistic that the construction will go a long way to help the people in the community and its environs and has called on the people to assist the contractor in order to complete the project on time. "The project which is expected to be completed within six months costs an amount of seventeen thousand cedis. I know its completion will help the local people as well as commuters since the road links to Kasoa in the central region" hon. Amankwanor added.
The NDC MP was grateful to the people for their continious support to the party over the years and pledged to work hard and pay them back with the needed developments to make life easier for all. He also commended the traditional authority for their support in performing the neccessary rites to commence the project.
Hon. Joseph Amankwanor however called for unity amongst the people no matter party affiliation to bring development to the area.
The people were also grateful to the MP for his hardwork and dedication as he has taking up many projects like building of police station at Kwasi Nyarko, building of market centres in three communities as well as assisting brilliant but needy students in school with scholarships.
