President Mahama begins nationwide 'Resetting Ghana Tour'

President John Dramani Mahama is set to begin a nationwide tour on March 18, 2026, aimed at checking the progress of government projects and connecting directly with citizens across the country.

The initiative, dubbed the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” is designed to take the presidency closer to the grassroots, giving communities the chance to engage leadership while receiving updates on key policies and development efforts.

The tour will kick off in the Bono Region, where the president will be joined by regional ministers, local government officials, and other stakeholders as they visit project sites and interact with residents.

Providing details of the exercise, the Minister of State in charge of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, explained that the tour will give the president a practical, on-the-ground view of how government projects are progressing, while also allowing him to hear directly from the people.

“The president believes it is not enough for ministers to brief the nation from the presidency. He is stepping out to lead the ‘Resetting the Ghana Project’, starting from the Bono Region tomorrow, all things being equal.
