NDUOM IS BEST Among all presidential aspirants
The General Secretary of the National Prophetic and Apostolic Churches Council of Ghana (NPACC,) Bishop Dr. Sam Owusu, says divine revelation portends that the standard bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, could become president of the Republic of Ghana. Bishop Owusu, who is also the founder of a bible training college, Covenant Leadership College at Achimota, Accra, added that the high chances of Dr. Nduom becoming president of Ghana stems from his sound vision and plans aimed at transforming Ghana. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Today after an evening sermon at the on-going annual Back to the Bible Believers Conference, Bishop Owususaid the prophets within NPACC have decided to write to inform the PPP flag-bearer about measures he should take to woo a large number of voters with his message for electoral victory in December.
The conference is organised by the Alive Chapel Internationalin Accra.
Admitting that this year’s election would be a tough one, the man of God observed that Dr. Nduom is one of the few people in Ghana today with corporate investments in all ten regions of the country and has many reasons to fight for peace and stability in all the four corners of the country. He categorically stated that the NPACC views Dr. Nduom as a different politician who believes in truth, peace and prosperity and not in the obvious propaganda of going on the media and into bouts of screaming in order to be heard. Bishop Owususingled out for praise Dr. Nduom’s education policy that will see every Ghanaian child benefit from a free compulsory and continuous education from kindergarten to SHS. [“It] is a comprehensive policy.” He further hailed the practicality and realistic terms in which the PPP’s 10 point agenda are spelt out, and urged Ghanaians to take a critical look at those goals. “We are of the firm opinion that when Dr. Nduom becomes President he and the PPP would offer our children the kind of education and leadership [that] would be quite different from what Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the NPP and President John Dramani Mahama of the NDC have put on the table.”
Bishop Owusu further predicted that Ghanaians would soon see through the inadequacies of the NDC and the NPP and would want to opt for a new alternative. Against this backdrop, the man of God urged the PPP to strategically position itself to receive the imminent across-board acceptance. The man of God also entreated Dr. Nduom to continue to employ effective and efficient communication experts to propagate his good message and not to relent if even things don’t go his way in this election. Prophecies, he explained, are not bound by time. The General Secretary of the National Prophetic and Apostolic Churches Council of Ghana commended Dr. Nduom on the challenge he had thrown to President Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo on four thematic areas – declaration of their public assets, declaration of personal health status, public declaration of income tax returns and disclosure of sources of party’s campaign funds – which he has promised to fulfill before filing nomination papers to contest the presidential election in December. He also praised Dr. Nduom’s boldness in declaring his intention to offer incorruptible, competent leadership when elected as president for 2013.
