Rev. Dr. Abbeam Amponsah Danso, the general overseer of God’s Solution Center who doubles as Chancellor of Abbeam Institute of Technology seems to have a challenge with how some Christians preach salvation to non-believers and backsliders.

Although he mentioned no names, his usage of Prophet Kofi Oduro’s ‘signature’ prickles minds.

Rev. Abbeam is of the view that the approach to winning souls should not be characterized by loud, piercing expressions; rather a gentle, quiet voice. He believes yelling at people who may have been engulfed in sin is not the best tactics.

“If you think you can speak against KiDi and yell ‘tie, mereka Nyame adwen akyere wo’ [listen, I’m telling you the mind of God] …’ You don’t know God’s thoughts. That’s the point. I have a problem with Christians that are ignorant. Jesus said we should show love,” Rev. Abbeam said on Hitz FM’s ‘This Is Gospel, Sunday.

Rev. Danso Abbeam was making a submission on the show about reports he gathered some secular musicians in his house for ministration.

A video clip which was shared online recently captured Lynx Entertainment act KiDi leading the showbiz personalities including Eno Barony, Wendy Shay, Bullet of RuffTown Records, Bismark the Joke and Krymi to the throne of grace as he performed spirit-filled worship songs with the band.

He told host, Franky 5, that he gathered the secular musicians because he wanted to show them love as done by Jesus Christ.

Citing example from the Scriptures, the pastor said Christ did not condemn nor yell at the adulterous woman whose story is captured in 1 John 8.11; He rather asked her to go and sin no more.

“We all deserve to know Christ; we deserve to come into his pavilion because He is waiting for us… My prayer is that God will use me to show much love.

“I didn’t take these people to church but I will take them all the time. They came into my house…I saw Eno crying and pouring everything out; you could see Wendy Shay shaking. Wendy is a prophet. A day will come, that young lady will prophesy and preach the good news. A day is coming…” he mentioned.

Prophet Kofi Oduro, head pastor of the Alabaster International Ministries is known for punctuating his sermons with what appears to be a command.

‘Tie, mereka Nyame adwen akyere wo’ [listen, I’m telling you the mind of God]’ is never missing from his presentation whenever he grabs the microphone to preach the word of God.
