To us at YPN, the names staring up from the ballot paper usually means very little.
We strongly support the thesis that governance is a serious business and must be conducted with all the professionalism needed. Sammi Awuku is one of the few politicians who conducts his business professionally especially in his engagement with people.
Sammi is a stalwart when it comes to mobilization efforts both for resources and people.
He led the way in increasing the percentage of the New Patriotic Party’s votes in the 2016 election. As a social person, he takes a holistic approach to the issues affecting the most vulnerable in society, a move that creates progress for all Ghanaians.
Sammi Awuku may be famous for being the nation’s most effective youth leader today, but in Ghana and Africa, most professionals know him to be among the most accessible leaders.
He’s fought for the grassroots and advocated for a reward for hardworking party people. Sammi Awuku has already made the NPP a better place by creating a thriving youth force.
He has immense talent for spotting problems, creating the structures needed to address them and coordinating existing solutions to better serve the NPP and Ghana.
He has an extensive record of leadership in community organizing and advocacy.
We are confident that Sammi is building pathways to wealth and equity for all Ghanaians.
By this statement, the Young Professionals Network has elected to endorse Sammi Awuku as the next National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
