There was a scramble for the main opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) T-shirts and aprons at Bantama Market during a clean-up exercise organized by Kwadwo Addai Dapaah, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region.
Accompanied by the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the NDC, the team engaged with traders, sharing the party's key messages on initiatives such as the "24-Hour Economy," the "No Fee Stress Initiative," and the "Women Development Bank," among others.
However, the distribution of party materials quickly turned chaotic as traders rushed to secure theirs first.
During the event, the NDC's Ashanti Regional Chairman, Andrew Nana Kwasi, encouraged the traders to reconsider their voting patterns and support the NDC to benefit from loans offered by the Women Development Bank.
Kwadwo Addai Dapaah, the Parliamentary Candidate, also urged the traders to reject the New Patriotic Party, citing economic hardships and unfulfilled promises by the current government, and to cast their votes for the NDC in the upcoming elections.
