Enoch Teye Sewornu, chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Sege Constituency, has formally become a member of the Ghana Bar Association after being enrolled with newly qualified lawyers to join the legal fraternity.

The chairman was part of the 182 newly certified attorneys admitted into the legal profession by the General Legal Council on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

In October 2022, Mr. Sewornu entered the NDC Sege constituency chairmanship race. At the end of the election, he was elected the chairman of the constituency after gaining 375 votes.

Enoch Teye Sewornu, the youngest chairman in the party's history, was born in Big Ada, in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region, where he had his basic school education.

Now an esquire, Mr. Sewornu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Arts and an MBA in Strategic Management and Consulting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Mr. Sewornu began his legal career at Central University, where he earned a Bachelor of Law (LLB). He went on to become a professional lawyer in 2024, with the necessary expertise to practice law in Ghana.

After an arduous journey to become a legal practitioner and being officially admitted to the bar, he received enthusiastic congratulations from constituency executives, branch executives, and other party members.

Lawyer Enoch Teye Sewornu's accomplishment in becoming a lawyer will strengthen the National Democratic Congress' legal bench at both the national and constituency levels.
