He said the candidates will be vetted at the Region Office of the Party and those cleared will go to the Primaries.

Mr Benson said the incumbent Jomoro Constituency NDC Member of Parliament (MP) Wing Commander (retired) Francis Kabenlah Anaman, did not seek re-election after one term in office.

Mr Benson urged the candidates, who are all males, to conduct a clean campaign devoid of insults, acrimony and character assassination to ensure a peaceful election.

He said after the primaries whoever emerges winner will need the supports of the other candidates towards the party’s victory in the 2016 elections.
