Hohoe (V/R), March 4, GNA - A Hohoe-based Social grouping, the Royal Gold Club, on Monday paid GH¢1,000 out of GH¢1,150 filing fee for Mr Victor Hermann Condobrey, who is seeking to contest National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries in the Hohoe North Constituency. Mr Daniel Tsorme, president of the Club, said the gesture stemmed from the "leadership pedigree, experience, personal integrity and credentials of Mr Condobrey, as the only credible candidate to unite the youth in the constituency".

He said the Club would also sponsor media related activities to market Mr Condobrey. "We therefore call on all especially the youth who have deserted the NDC in the Hohoe North Constituency to return to the Party to upstage the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate again in the December polls," he said.

Mr Emmanuel Asamani, Hohoe North Constituency Secretary of the NDC, commended the Club for its gesture, describing it as an innovation that must be emulated. Mr Asamani entreated the Club to harness its resources towards supporting any candidate who might emerge victorious from its primaries, to facilitate victory for the NDC.
