Stephen Ntim, National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), heralded an aggressive new phase of his party's campaign by ferrying the Sene River to Wayokope Island on Sunday to canvass for votes for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

At Wayokope Island, which is predominantly a fishing community in the Sene East Constituency of the Bono East Region, Stephen Ntim and his team reached out to younger voters they see as crucial to victory.

The national chairman outlined the successful implementation of the free Senior High School, Agenda 111, One Constituency One Ambulance and massive development of road infrastructure across the country as some of the major achievements of President Akufo-Addo's administration.

"Clearly, the NPP has delivered on its promises and has served the people of Ghana well. All 16 regions have received a fair share of developmental projects; that's why voters should renew our mandate on December 7," Stephen Ntim asserted.

He said the next NPP administration would crack down on the harassment of fisherfolk and farmers by Forestry Commission staff.

According to him, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, if elected as president on December 7, would work to bridge the gap between the poor and the rich in Ghana.

The team met with local chiefs and elders to finish up their campaign in the community.
