Dr. E.K Obeng, NPP parliamentary aspirant for Tafo-Pankrono constituency, has pledged to make judicious use of the Member of Parliament (MP) share of the Common Fund to promote development in the constituency.
He said as a medical officer whose facility was located in the constituency, he was aware of the development challenges in the area, and would work to ensure that the constituency received its fair share of development.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Tafo, Dr. Obeng said already, he had supported the constituency with a number of development projects to improve the living conditions of the people.
He mentioned the provision of two mechanized boreholes in some communities in the constituency and employment opportunities for over 150 youth in the area, as some of the things he had done in the area.
Dr. Obeng pointed out that, as a medical doctor, he could only heal the sick, but as an MP, he could do more to help improve the living conditions of the people in the constituency.
He appealed to the delegates in the upcoming primaries to vote for him to transform the constituency.
