Mr Francis Adu-Blay Koffie, the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni/Valley, has advised his constituents who have not registered in the ongoing biometric registration process to do so when the registration officers reach their area.

He said this would enable them exercise their franchise in the forth coming Presidential and Parliamentary elections slated for December 7.

He said this during a visit to some selected polling stations in his constituency with the District Chief Executive for Prestea Huni/Valley, Mr Robert Wisdom Cudjoe.

Apart from the District Council primary school at Himan, and market “A” compound at Anfegya polling stations which recorded shortage of ink and faulty computer, the remaining seven Out of nine polling stations the team visited were busily working.

Mr Adu-Blay Koffie reminded Ghanaians that, the essence of the registration is not for voting alone but said it is meant to plan for every community to benefit from developmental projects and urged all to ensure that their names are written in the registration exercise.

Mr Robert Cudjoe, the District Chief Executive for Prestea Huni/Valley, said there was the need for the youth in the area to engage themselves in productive ventures that would improve their standards of living.

He asked the citizens to pay their development levies promptly to assist the assembly in completing projects in the constituency.**
