The regional secretariat of Tema branch of the UNITED CADRE FRONT (UCF), of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has congratulated His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, on his assumption to the highest office of the land.
In a press release copied to a number of media houses the group stated:
“Your victory, and for that matter the NDC – is deserving, considering the short period of campaign time the Party had to itself to achieve this feat. The tireless days and nights you and your vice had to endure to chock this success cannot go without mention.
“The shared responsibilities you carried yourself with the National, Regional and constituency executives of the Party throughout the limited campaign period deserves the highest moral HONOUR of a pat on your back.
“The pains you went through ware deservedly paid-off on January 7, when in a massive turnout by Ghanaians – you were colourfully sworn-in, the Fourth President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
“We, the UCF-Tema regional branch feel very proud to be part of this VICTORY, and wish to share our excitement with you in this glorious period of our time.
“It is our prayer, that the GOOD LORD guides and guard you through the enormous task that is ahead of you in delivering THE BETTER GHANA AGEMDA.
“We pray long life for you and that by the time you leave office in 2020, Ghana should be the PARADISE not only for Ghanaians, but the entire CONTINENT OF AFRICA.
“LONG LIVE MOTHER-GHANA! LONG LIVE THE NDC! LONG LIVE ALL GHANAIANS!” the release concluded.
