The Electoral Commission (EC) has assured the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of its capability to effectively manage the electoral processes for the upcoming general elections.

Earlier this week, the opposition party expressed concerns and dissatisfaction with the EC regarding the current limited voter registration exercise, some missing laptops, and the EC's failure to provide the serial numbers of the Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) kits.

Dr. Serebour Quaicoe, Director of Electoral Services at the EC, told reporters that the EC can be trusted to deliver perfect results, adhering to all observed rules and regulations.

"They should trust us. As we have been doing, we will continue to do so, and when 2024 is over, whatever the results may be, you will agree that we have done a good job," he stated.

Addressing the remarks made by the NDC, he said, "We want them to relax. They should train their agents very well. They should follow the registration and collect all the data with respect to the start-of-day record and end-of-day record. We are conducting it for 21 days."
