The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Moctar Bamba, has expressed his readiness to retain his position to help the party win the 2016 elections.

The party did not lose the 2012 elections but they let it go because the party loves the country and believes in democracy, according to him.

In order to win the 2016 elections, the first thing the NPP will have to do is to allow executives holding various positions and offices to work and that will help the NPP win power in the next elections, he indicated.

Alhaji Bamba, who was speaking in an interview with DAILY GUIDE in Sunyani, said the supporters of the NPP must uphold the party’s constitution and allow the various executives to implement their strategies.

“Winning elections is not about assigning people to hold positions, but allowing those holding offices to put in place their strategies that can win the party power,” he opined.

He called on the party’s hierarchy not to underrate anybody in the party.

The National Organizer urged the party’s members to retain him in office so as to formulate strategies to ensure victory in 2016.

“I couldn’t put all my strategies in place during the 2012 elections, but this time when I am maintained as the national organizer, I will put all my strategies in place to make sure we win the elections,” he added.

He also called for unity in the party to recapture power in the country.
