Upper East NDC commends electorate

Bolgatanga, Dec. 16, GNA - The Upper East Region Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Tuesday commended the electorates in the region for turning out in their numbers to vote in the December 7 General Election. It noted that the support of the electorate enabled the party to win in 12 out of the 13 constituencies in the presidential polls and retained most of its seats and won new ones. This was contained in a press statement to the press in Bolgatanga, signed by the Regional Vice Chairman and the Regional Communications Director of the party, Mr. Richard Adua and Mr. Samuel Abane respectively.

It noted that the support of the electorate enabled the party to win in 12 out of the 13 constituencies in the presidential polls and retained most of its seats and won new ones. This was contained in a press statement to the press in Bolgatanga, signed by the Regional Vice Chairman and the Regional Communications Director of the party, Mr. Richard Adua and Mr. Samuel Abane respectively. The statement appealed to the electorate to vote massively for the NDC to retain power in the Presidential run-off to salvage Ghanaians from their plight. It said the NDC was committed to improving the living conditions Of Ghanaians. The statement commended the media, Electoral Commission and all stakeholders for ensuring successful elections. It urged party agents to effectively monitor the presidential run-off on December 28.
