The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osman Ayariga, has assured Ghanaians that the party will deliver on all its promises if it wins the 2024 general elections.

Speaking in a media interview on Tuesday, August 13, he emphasised the NDC's commitment to addressing the pressing issues facing the nation, particularly those affecting the youth.

Ayariga stressed the importance of the NDC’s Youth Manifesto, which outlines key policies aimed at creating jobs, improving education, and providing opportunities for young people.

He assured Ghanaians that the party's leadership, under John Dramani Mahama, is dedicated to implementing these policies fully, noting that the NDC has a track record of delivering on its promises when in government.

The deputy youth organiser also addressed concerns about the current state of the economy, blaming the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he described as "economic mismanagement" that has led to widespread hardship.

Osman Ayariga also argued that the NDC's policies are designed to restore economic stability and provide relief to Ghanaians, particularly the most vulnerable.

He, thus, called on the youth to actively participate in the pending elections, urging them to vote for the NDC as the party that truly represents their interests.

The lawyer cum politician stressed that the future of the country depends on the choices made by young people and that their support is crucial in ensuring the NDC's victory.

"I understand the scepticism the launch of our youth manifesto has received but you know we know the plan we have in this country and we are committed to implementing all our promises for the benefit of the Ghanaian people. Ghanaians can trust us to deliver. We are not like the NPP. Visionary Mahama is committed and will deliver all his promises to Ghanaians," he said.
