The Volta Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Mawutor Agbavitor, has been honoured by the SAVA branches of the Bake-Gbleofe Ward in the Ho Central Constituency.
During a brief ceremony held in his honour on Sunday, 20 October, the NDC Chairman, who previously served as a SAVA branch secretary, was presented with a citation. The citation praised his longstanding dedication to the party’s grassroots efforts, which many believe played a significant role in his rise to the position of Regional Chairman.
The SAVA branch members encouraged Comrade Agbavitor to continue his efforts in mobilising and uniting party members for a resounding victory in the upcoming December elections.
Visibly moved by the recognition, Comrade Agbavitor expressed his deep gratitude, stating that the honour from the four SAVA branches was a meaningful reminder of his strong connection with the community.
"The presentation of this citation is a significant moment for me, reaffirming the unbreakable bond between myself and this great community. This gesture of appreciation speaks volumes, reminding me that no matter where I go, I remain a part of this family. Your trust and love inspire me to continue serving with unwavering dedication," he said.
He assured the party members of his full support as they work towards shared progress and success.
"The victory of the NDC beckons, and together, we will rise to meet the challenges ahead. This citation is not just a personal honour—it symbolises the unity, strength, and vision that will carry us forward. With your support, we will bring the NDC back to power and build a better future for all," he assured.
