A parliamentary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tamale North constituency Mr. Akilu Sayibu has called on delegates to the impending NPP’s parliamentary primaries on the 30th April 2011 to vote for him on that day to enable him continue with the good works he is currently carrying out in the Tamale North constituency to ensure an NPP victory in election 2012.

Mr. Akilu Sayibu made this appeal during an interview on North Star fm during the newspaper review programme in Dagbani.

The Tamale North parliamentary aspirant explained that, his campaign was centered on his track record of continuous service to the NPP since 1992.

“I formed the first publicity committee of the NPP in the Northern Region, I have renovated the Tamale North constituency office of the NPP to facilitate party activities and have also secured pick up vehicles which are already at the service of party and even non party activists within the Tamale North constituency”

Mr. Akilu Sayibu added that, he is a great advocate and is the very best to advocate for the NPP in the Tamale North constituency and therefore entreats delegates to give him their votes come April 30th 2011.

The track record of my advocacy is there for all to see. “I advocated for an end to the Tamale water crisis, advocated for the speedy implementation of the Savanna Accelerated Development Authority fund (SADA) and also advocated for Teachers salaries in relationship to the single spine salary structure”

Mr. Akilu Sayibu used the occasion to reiterate his calls for his colleague aspirants to centre their campaign messages around what they did for the NPP in the past, what they are doing for it now and how prepared they were for an NPP victory in the Tamale North constituency should they win the primaries.

The Tamale North aspirant also used the occasion to tell delegates his position on the ballot box which is number 2 and urged to vote for number 2 on 30th April 2011.
