Sun, 7 Dec 2008 Source: GNA

At the Star Nursery and Kindergarten polling station in Fadama in the Okaikoi North constituency, Mrs Elizabeth Sackey, incumbent Member of Parliament for Okaikoi North, incurred the wrath of some voters who said they did not understand why she came to the polling station. The angry mob led by one Santana did not understand why the MP should visit the polling station and for the timely intervention of security at the polling it could have been nasty. Speaking to the GNA, Mrs Sackey who had already cast her vote said she did not see anything wrong with her visit, as it was normal to know what was happening in the constituency. She said she had visited about 10 polling stations in the constituency including, Silent Star School, Abeka JSS 1 and 2, Fadama market.
