We cannot desert you and the NPP because you have delivered - Paramount chief of Tepa tells NAPO

Dr. Nana Adusei Atwenewa, the Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area, has disclosed that he and his people support a government that delivers, and therefore, they cannot desert the NPP, particularly one of their own, Dr. Matthew Opoku popularly known as NAPO, whom he described as results-oriented.

He equally pledged that they would support the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Ahafo Ano North Constituency and Director-General for NADMO, Nana Agyeman Prempeh, for spearheading many developmental projects in the constituency.

“You are one of our own and a Royal. We cannot desert you, especially because you have delivered. Tepa will support you and Dr. Bawumia to continue to deliver.

"We will also support Nana Agyeman Prempeh for spearheading many developmental projects within Tepa and its environs,” the revered traditional ruler observed.

The Tepamanhene made these remarks at a meeting of the Tepa Traditional Council with the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and his campaign team, on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

The meeting was also attended by Imams, Zongo Chiefs, the Clergy, and leaders of various Identifiable Groups, all of whom declared support for the NPP.

After the meeting, the NPP Running Mate proceeded to the Tepa SHS, where he inspected the ongoing construction of an ultramodern library facility solely funded by the parliamentary candidate, Nana Agyeman Prempeh.

He addressed students of the Tepa SHS, Maaban SHS, and Tepa Nursing and Midwifery College, reminding them of the achievements of the NPP, particularly in the area of education.

He also addressed a rally at the Tepa Lorry Station.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh ended his day by taking his constituency-focused campaign tours to the Ahafo Ano South East and the Ahafo Ano South West Constituencies, where he held a series of campaign engagements with the chiefs and people of Abesewa, Ahwerewam, Sabronum, Adugyama, and Mankranso.

He rallied support for the NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the respective parliamentary candidates, Frederick Acheampong and Elvis Dapaah.
