The Greater Accra Regional Women's Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Joyce Konokie Dampare says the the party is poised for victory in the upcoming presidential elections and will leave no stone unturned in clinching that victory.

Joyce Konokie Zempare says despite the fact that political parties thrive on numbers, the party will not hesitate to axe any member whose actions are against the interest of the political party and its presidential candidate.

Speaking in an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem, she said the NPP and its flagbearer are focused, committed and ready to deliver to Ghanaians a first class governance.

According to her, Ghanaians are suffering with high rate of youth unemployment, high utility tariffs and the only political and leader who can rescue this nation from sinking is the NPP and its presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Joyce Konokie Dampare restated Nana Addo's call on Ghanaians to vote for him as President if they are living under poor condition or vote for President Mahama if he has transformed their lives. She explained, the victory and change the NPP is professing is to transform the economy, give the jobs and deal with corruption head on.

"We are determined, we are poised, we are focused and ready to form the new government... Ghanaians are calling for change and the only party that can deliver this change is the NPP and Nana Akufo Addo."

Madam Joyce Konokie Dampare noted that there some persons within the NPP whose aim is to discredit their flagbearer but that she said will not wash since Nana Addo is a man with integrity, tried and tested and he is committed to deliver on his mandate to Ghanaians.

Commenting on the suspension of officers of the party and the need for the party to accept diverse views internally, she said the party works with structures and therefore members are expected to make use of such structures in dealing with issues that are of concern to them.

She added, every organization works with laws so when members go contrary to the laws, they deserve to be sanctioned.
