The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Kwetey, says the NDC does not want to be compared to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He says the NDC wants to do what is right for the country, not act in their selfish interest.

Fiifi Kwetey was speaking to the media at the #handsoffourhotels event when he made this known.

He said, "It is very loud and clear that we simply don't want a situation where we are comparing ourselves to the NPP. We need to rise up to do what is right for the country. We want a situation where we do just a little better than them.

"We can't also be selfish, corrupt people. It has to come to an end; the country has to be the number one priority, and that is what we are fighting for. We want to reach that stage where you can no longer hide under a political party to do what is wrong, thinking the party will protect you. That is simply unacceptable. The people of Ghana must fight for what is right," he said.
