A leading member of the ruling National Democratic Congress, (NDC) Hon. Michael Ologo has reminded Ghanaians to revive the Ghanaian spirit in such economic hard times.

The youth activist made the declaration at a gathering in somanya, in the Yilo Krobo Municipality in the eastern region over the week end.

The motivational speaker stated that “we need to revive the Ghanaian spirit and hold it up high, the Ghanaian spirit and the promises of our forefathers that binds us together in times of difficulties, the spirit that makes us fix our eyes not on what is seen but what is unseen, that there are better places around the bend”.

The Yilo krobo 2016 Parliamentary hopeful stated that “The idea that we are responsible for ourselves but we always rise or fall as one nation, and the fundamental believe that I am my brother’s keeper, and you are your sister’s keeper are the promises we need to keep”.

Hon. Ologo further appealed to Ghanaians that, for any Government’s promises to be fulfilled in this country, “It requires a renewed sense of responsibility from each of us as citizens of Ghana, and for as much as we expect Government to do and must do, it is ultimately the faith, unity, and determination of the Ghanaian people upon which the government relies”.
