Western Region NDC conducts peaceful parliamentary primaries

Takoradi, Nov. 27, GNA -Twenty-six candidates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) contested last Saturday's parliamentary primaries for nine constituencies that do not have sitting members of parliament in the Western Region.

Takoradi, Nov. 27, GNA -Twenty-six candidates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) contested last Saturday's parliamentary primaries for nine constituencies that do not have sitting members of parliament in the Western Region. At Effia-Kwesimintsim Mr Francis Kassim Apuri won the contest with 153 votes to defeat the favourite candidate, Mr. Mohammed Ali, who had 114 votes whilst Rev. Samuel Nyarko placed distance third.
