Accra, Feb. 22, GNA - The Local Government Workers' Union of the Trades Union Congress has sent a letter of congratulations to the new Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Charles Bintin on his assumption of office.
"We the Local Government Workers' Union are proud of you," the message signed by Mr William Mensah, General Secretary of the Union, said.
"We believe that you have the disposition for the high office and we are confident that you will relentlessly continue with the effort of making the Local Government Service and the decentralisation concept a reality."
