Pollster Ben Ephson has said the removed minister of Interior Mark Woyongo has been disappointing as a minister of state.
According to him, the utterances of the former defense minister leave much to be desired considering his background as a professional communicator.
Woyongo has been moved from the Interior ministry to the Presidency in the latest ministerial reshuffle by President John Mahama.
Political watchers have said the move is part of efforts by the President to lubricate the government machinery ahead of the November polls.
Commenting on the reshuffle, the managing editor of the Dispatch Newspaper told Starr News Woyongo’s exit from the Interior ministry is not surprising.
“Woyongo for example; with his background as a communicator, he’s been so disappointing... I have followed him since he was Upper East regional minister and his communications have been abysmal,” he said.
