The issue is not punishment but willingness to submit to lawful scrutiny. Ghana currently has no recognized political prisoners, and its courts and constitutional safeguards remain available to anyone who claims persecution. Public office demands higher responsibility, and political leadership should promote transparency, not normalize distance from accountability. The propaganda has started.
