The politically motivated killings in the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC) revolutionary has brought curses upon the land, and all those who participated in the gruesome murder of innocent people should come out to confess and have their sins forgiven by God.

The Methodist Bishop of Obuasi Diocese, Rt Rev Stephen Richard Bosomtwi-Ayensu said, those leaders hijacked the country and and introduced the culture of disrespect for the adults by the young generation, which hitherto was quite the opposite.

'God would punish all those who spilled blood of the innocent', he said.

'Today, the youths have no respect for the older generation', he added

This, he said has tagged our national psyche until today, where we are now talking about the culture of insults in politics, instead of developmental issues..

He said, it was not so until the PNDC revolution introduced violence against the elderly where the national leaders were disgraced publicly.

Rt Rev Bosumtwi was speaking on the moral decadence confronting the nation on the Morning Show of the Rainbow Radio International : FRONTLINE.

He attributed the economic challenges of the land to the spillage of innocent blood during and before the revolution, culminating in discontent among the youths.

He took a swipe at the political leaders who do not take responsibility of their actions, but play 'blame-games' whiles the majority of the people suffer.

'We do not need parties, but people with the right minds with the sense of responsibility, determined to develop the country', he concluded.
