The Youth of the New Patriotic Party in the three Northern Regions are grateful to the National Chairman Paul Afoko and General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong for availing themselves to the people of the North and directing on our core mandate of winning election 2016.
The three day working visit to the Northern regions went without the usual attempt by certain persons to distract them from doing their work but our leaders showed their love for the NPP and especially the people of the North and continued with their visits.
As members of the NPP in the North, we condemn the shameful act that happened in the Upper East Region and call on the National Leadership of our party to reprimand the Mahama Adams, masterminded and brought thugs to attack his own regional and constituency officers in Bolgatanga.
The visit of by our leaders has rejuvenated the base of the party and we are more committed today to making Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo President in 2016.
The NPP is working again and we are grateful for the continuous commitment to instill discipline within the structures of the party.
We are by this statement calling on all those hidden hands that have made it their desire to see to the downfall of our National Officers to desist from doing that. Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong mean well for the NPP and we give them our unflinching support in the discharge of their duties.
We send a word of caution to all party members who have the penchant of discussing party internal issues in the media to put a stop to that and let us all use internal Party structures to channel our grievances and respect the authority and hierarchy of the NPP.
Let's all remember we have a duty to save Ghana from the current economic mess and therefore are expected to put aside all petty issues and focus on the Bigger Picture.
We cannot fail Ghanaians in 2016. Let's work harder and Insha Allah, we shall win the elections.
