Madam Anita Harriet Abaidoo, the Convention People’s Party (CPP) Parliamentary Aspirant for Okaikoi South Constituency, has pledged to promote peace and tolerance when voted into power.

She also pledged to ensure law and order by working with law enforcement agencies, queen mothers, neighborhood watch-dog committees, local civil societies and unit committees in ensuring that the people of Okaikoi South enjoyed full and timely justice.

Madam Abaidoo made the pledge on Tuesday when she submitted her nomination forms to executives of the CPP at the party’s headquarters in Accra.

She pledged to promote skills training for women in the constituency and ensure environmental cleanliness at all times.

“Vote for Anita and let’s see how God is going to use me to bring a new model to the Okaikoi South Constituency.

“We need to have change, we are stuck in the constituency, we are not looking back, we are going forward till we achieve our aim,” she said.

Madam Abaidoo, who is also the Chairperson of the Welfare Committee of the CPP, encouraged women to take up leadership roles to help build the country.

“This is the time to arise, work together as women and make the country a better place for all,” she said.

Madam Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim, the First Vice Chairperson of the CPP, lauded Madam Abaidoo for her boldness saying it was a good course towards the empowerment of women.

Mr Kadri Abdul Rauf, the Director of Communications, CPP, called on the electorates in the constituency to rally behind Madam Abaidoo as she was the right candidate for the constituency in terms of her plans for development.
